Located in Sudirman’s Central Business District’s exclusive high-end residential complex Capital Residence, this unit was a gem in 2004. Now, the new owner needs the renovation of the unit they owned in this apartment. The goal is to renovate the unit for it to be resold afterwards.
This unit is the second largest type and is accessed through a private elevator. The total area is 171m2 that consist of the foyer, living room, dining room, kitchen, 3 bedrooms (1 master bedroom and 2 guest rooms), 2 bathrooms (master bathroom and guest bathroom), and a maid’s room. The renovation is carefully designed to have minimum intervention by keeping the existing floor and ceiling as they are. Therefore, the changes are mainly in the furniture, wallpapers, and built in cabinets.
The interior design of this unit is modern-classic featuring light-toned color palette. We also collaborated with Janu Spatial Art for the artwork. Oak wood and pastel colors are used in the interior built in furniture and cabinets. In the foyer, it features champagne-colored metals for the screen lattice and 2 armchairs divided by a console table. Once entering the unit, we are welcomed by the spacious area combining the living room, dining room, and kitchen. The beige wallpaper and oak wood create a soothing atmosphere for the space. The artwork above the L-Sofa also provide a unique centerpiece inspired by Indonesia’s famous Batik pattern, ‘Mega Mendung’. The master and guest bedroom both featured open wardrobe—as compared to the existing one—in order to create more sense of spaciousness. The second guest bedroom also has flexible function as it can be turned into a workspace or a bedroom by using the sofa bed in different ways, and both has unique artworks of their own.
